We are incredibly excited to team up with a global giant in the petrochemicals industry. Their Chemicals Division are seeking new talent to assist in developing new and expanding current technologies & innovations for projects in the production of petrochemicals (Olefins, Aromatics, MTBE, Methanol, Glycols, etc.); and projects focused on carbon capture; oils to chemicals; and plastic recycling, to name a few.
This team consists of experienced researchers, technologists & chemical process engineers with access to state-of-the-art analytical labs, facilities & pilot plants, with the overall aim to improve the company’s chemical business growth by designing & developing new petrochemical complexes, conducting feasibility studies, technology evaluations, licensor selections & endorsing PDP & FEED documents for the building of new petrochemical plants. The team also function to provide technology support to existing world-scale petrochemical plants, with focus on identifying and implementing technology improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

BTech/MSc/MTech/PhD in Chemical Engineering

4 years+ hands on work experience in petrochemical technology development particularly, in process synthesis, design, modelling and simulation, piloting, separation optimization, integration (e.g., pinch analysis), intensification, optimization, techno-economic and sustainability analysis of new processes.

Proven experience using process simulation software (Aspen, Hysys, PetroSIM, PRO II.),

Experience in development and review of CDP, PDP, FEED and Detailed Engineering Activities for mega scale petrochemical plant.

Our client, a global giant in the petrochemicals industry, with multiple operations in ~50 countries, is currently on an exciting drive to grow their Global Technology Licensing groups talent pool. This divisions function seeks to source, deploy & govern licensing of processing technologies through tendering & negotiations with global stakeholders & customers in the industry. Their primary purpose is to implement technologies through internal / joint venture / external projects.
The scope for this division extends from agreement request, agreement finalization, technology implementation, all the way to the expiry of licensing agreements and the associated obligations. This is achieved through various roles and tasks, for e.g., Developing and maintaining state of the art tools & industrial best design practices in Process Separations, Reaction Engineering, Fluid Mechanics & Mixing, Solids & Fluidization, Heat Transfer & Process Modelling. The Process
​
Once you have submitted your CV, your details will be sent to a consultant I work with and she will make contact with you for a discussion. The consultant will match your skills to their client's job specs and discuss details with you during the meeting, there is no need to prepare for the meeting and everything happens over Zoom.
